A new version of the Engine and the Level-Editor has just been released. You can download the projects from the Download section.

This version contains some new features like a Terrain-Editor and Hardware-Instancing but also a lot of internal code changes and many bug fixes. (Take a look at the Changelog for more information)

There's also a new video showing the new features which can be found here and a screenshot section.

The next thing to come will be a sample game which will show how to use the Engines features in a game.

New Webspace PDF Print E-mail

I've just set up the website at a new webspace, which hopefully provides better Uptime and Bandwidth.

As I didn't know how long this would take, I kept the old webspace running while I was setting up the new one. This results in a data loss in the user section which means if you've done any changes or registered a new user account during the past 2 days this data is lost (sorry for that!).

If any problems occur, or you think there is data missing somewhere else, please contact us in the forum or via E-Mail.

We Are A Team! PDF Print E-mail

.. and it only took 2 weeks! We've just found a forth member for our team!

On the other hand, only 2 weeks means we haven't really had time to work together. This means we will focus on that before we extend our team of programmers any further.

But we could still use some graphical help, at both, 2D and 3D!

Sure no artist wants to create models which lie around in a Level-Editor, barely seen by anyone. But they won't! As we've got a lot of programming power now, we can start creating a sample game which should represent the Engine and the Level-Editor soon.

As you may have noticed, there are some problems with the validation-Mail you should get after the registration at the moment.
I've activated the accounts which haven't received a validation-Mail manually, so you should be able to log in now.

Until this is fixed you won't have to wait for a validation, but just log in after you've registered.

Looking for help! PDF Print E-mail

I'm currently looking for some help with the further development of the Engine and Level Editor. There are no special skills required, a basic knowledge of programming in XNA should be enough as you will be "learning by doing" ;)

As the Engine/Level Editor contains more or less all basic features and runs stable, there's nothing that must be done next. This means you are free to choose what you would like to implement.
I have a few ideas what could be done next, but of cause you can also come up with your own ideas! At this point I also want to clarify that I'm not looking for someone how works for me, but someone who is interested in such a project and comes up with his/her own ideas and opinions.

If you are interested, it would be best to write an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
